Is it week #5 of no new comics if there are new comics? Depends on who you ask. DC Comics is getting comics to retailers for sale on Tuesday, April 28, through Lunar Distribution and UCS Comic Distributors. Other publishers appear to be waiting until Diamond Distribution starts shipping again. From the rescheduling I have monitored, it looks as though Diamond plans on making May 20 their next new comics Wednesday.
Diamond has a very small number of Marvel titles with a May 20 release date. However, many titles have no definite release date, and I firmly believe as early as next week, we will start seeing a more accurate release schedule for Marvel.
Please continue helping out comic book retailers by donating to the Hero Initiative and to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation.
Keep checking here for the latest updates on release dates. We are working everyday to get the best information regarding rescheduled comics, just as we have for 25 years.
Remember, when you order any of these titles NOW instead of waiting closer to the release date, whether here or at your local comic book shop, you save money AND you save the time of hunting down the issue after it sells out. To find a local comic book shop, please browse The Master List of Comic Book & Trading Card Stores.
